Tip #1 For Contributors: Provide Photos With Your Post
When submitting a guest post to Women Writers, Women Books, always include a photo or two of yourself and a photo of your book cover (if you don’t have a book published yet, an alternate photo is fine – perhaps some artwork that you’ve done). The author photo can be by yourself or doing something (at a desk, at a book fair, etc.); it doesn’t matter as long as you’re in it! If you don’t give us pictures to use, we as editors will still include some with your article, but we must rely on Google Images to find them. The author photo we choose might not be the one you would prefer readers to see, or the book cover we find may not necessarily be for the book that you want to promote at this time. Even if you don’t have a preference on which photos are included, it is still helpful to send them to us so that we can easily insert them right into your article and upload it more quickly.
