Women Writers, Women’s Books Submission Guidelines

Querying:

Email your query to barbarabos@booksbywomen.org.

We publish a wide range of writing-related content, including practical how-to articles, personal essays, author interviews, character interviews, and excerpts.

A 1-3 sentence query is fine. Please attach links to your social media sites for a quick review of your writing.

Specs:

The article should be under 900 words, including URLs to your social media sites. Include two photos (you and your latest book if you have one) as well as a one-paragraph bio.

Most of the time, we’ll send you a copy of the proposed piece for final approval before publication. Otherwise, we’ll publish it and let you know.

Once your post is published, it will be shared on @WomenWriters on X,  Threads,  in our Facebook Group, our Facebook page, and Bluesky. We’ll also repost periodically to keep it visible over time.
