Caroline AKA Caroline Gerardo Barbeau or C.G. as friends call her was born in Cincinnati Ohio. She was raised in a large Catholic family, by a father with the wanderlust for the next physicist project and mother who was to become the support of the family as a school psychologist. Her parents moved five children to Louisiana, Ohio, Indiana, Boston, Pennsylvania and finally California.

She received her Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude from Scripps College dual Major Art and Literature, and a Master of Fine Arts from Claremont Graduate University.

Caroline lives half time in Wyoming and California.

Caroline has awards for her poetry and flash fiction. She writes seven days a week and also enjoys photography, painting, gardening, gourmet cooking, and investing.

She is the author of Toxic Assets a financial thriller and literary thriller. Her short stories are Greed, Vanity, Lust, Granny Magic, Willow Green and is the ghostwriter of three other novels. She has been published in Scapegoat Review October 2011, Sleet Magazine Spring 2011, Negativesucks Magazine May 2011, and Narrative Magazine. Her next Novel is "The Lucky Boy".
