On Writing Sweet Freedom Whispered in My Ear
“Sweet Freedom Whispered in My Ear” is a memoir that delves into the depths of my life, a testament to the resilience of the human spirit overcoming the severe trauma and abuse. Over the years, many have urged me to write this book, finding inspiration in my story and believing in its power to provide solace to others in similar situations.
However, I only decided to write my memoir when I felt I had truly mastered my mindset and could offer not just a recollection of my experiences, but also tools and hope for my readers. The journey to this point was not straightforward.
Unlike many survivors of trauma, I never received professional therapy or medication to navigate my path to healing. Instead, I trained my mindset to overcome these devastating events, which led to profound changes in my life that I couldn’t have imagined. Over the past 30 years, I’ve delved deeply into the connection between the mind, body, and soul, and the life we lead. It was this exploration, this understanding, that finally convinced me it was time to share my success story.
In my current role as a mindset coach, I guide individuals to overcome their setbacks and create the lives they desire and deserve. I teach the very tools I developed and used in my own healing journey, tools that helped me transform my life and its been an honor to help others achieve freedom from their past. Writing “Sweet Freedom Whispered in My Ear” was an emotionally challenging process. Revisiting and reliving the traumatic moments of my past to bring my reality to my readers was a daunting task.
However, the tools I teach became my lifeline, aiding me in the revisiting of the emotional turmoil of my past and reinforcing my belief in the power of mindset. “Sweet Freedom Whispered in My Ear” is more than just my personal narrative. It’s a beacon of hope, a tangible guide for those facing their own trials, and a testament to the power of the human spirit. My story, drawn from a life of hardship and triumph, provides a roadmap to transformation, and it’s a reminder to all that even in the darkest moments, sweet freedom can whisper in our ears.
