WHAT: Call for no-fee submission for the Shishir (Winter) 2018 issue, December 2018. We seek short stories, poetry, and art.
Theme: Fire.
Our interpretation of Fire: “Fire sustains nurtures and takes life, it cooks food, it burns trees, It consumes the departed, and warms the living. It purifies, drives away suffocating darkness and numbing cold. It is the Sun god Surya, it is the fire god Agni, it burns in Naraka, Hell. It is the sign of intelligent life, of nature gone berserk, and a tool of vengeance.”
What is your interpretation? Are you “Fired up”? De send us your best work. Only original and unpublished work please. If your work is accepted elsewhere, please let us know.
Short story up to 3000 words, Poetry 10-16 lines, Art work 300 x 300 pixels jpeg file.
