Hello Readers and Friends,

It’s been a strange time with the recent events in Ukraine. After battling an unavoidable COVID the last two years, it’s unsettling to watch a country torn apart in avoidable acts. One thing we can always count on though is the soothing power of a good book—the visceral take me away from anxiety-provoking events. While we continue to pray for peace abroad and help those in need, here are my latest reads. I hope they bring you some form of comfort in the coming weeks and months.

Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

If you haven’t delved into Hoover’s novels, now’s the time. The bestselling author writes of powerful relationships with all the feels. The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka

Who doesn’t love a romance written by real-life sweethearts which portrays two sexy authors forced to write a book together all while finding their literal groove? Fans of sizzling romance will love this sexy read.

Woman on Fire by Lisa Barr

Have you heard of this book? It appears to be EVERYWHERE at the moment. That’s because this beautifully written, compelling tale is dazzling readers across the globe. Follow investigative reporter Jules Roth as she tracks down a painting stolen by the Nazis—and she’s not the only one on the hunt. All the ingredients are here to keep you entranced: art, romance, history, and suspense.
