I was born in the steel town of Sheffield, where, at the age of eleven, I was somehow-or-other given a scholarship to the local College of Art. Twelve years later I left the Royal College, London for Rome with an ARCA in my pocket, eager to begin my brilliant career as a sculptor—but Life was making other plans. Struck down by a serious illness, virtually paralysed for many years, hammers, chisels, and oxy-acetylene welders were no longer an option. Then a miracle changed my life. This story is told in my first book, Pathway Into Sunrise.
My initial foray into the medium of fiction, Clea and the Fifth Dimension, followed four years later with a foreword by best-selling author, transpersonal psychotherapist and spiritual teacher, Ruth White. This Strange and Precious Thing, which I describe as multi-dimensional and visionary fiction, is my third book. (See reviews.) My fourth, Dreaming Worlds Awake, recently published, is a miscellany.
