About IN TUNE

A tour manager determined to revitalize her career.

The client she can’t stop thinking about.

Workplace romance hits the road in this enemies-to-lovers romance from JN Welsh.

Luke Anderson needs a manager—fast. His last one quit, leaving his tour and his future in jeopardy. Now instead of focusing on his career, he’s forced to concentrate on damage control. Powerhouse manager Leona Sable is the full package—smart and talented, not to mention sexy as hell—but her past makes her impossible to trust.

When opportunity knocks in the form of talented EDM DJ Luke “The Musical Prophet” Anderson, Leona is ready to answer. But salvation doesn’t come cheap. Luke won’t sign until Leona agrees to his outrageous terms—including a no-sex-while-on-tour clause.

Dictating what she does in her personal life crosses a line. But Leona’s never been one to back down from a challenge.

One thing is for sure: if she has to suffer, so will he.

Let the tour begin…

JN Welsh’s Interview with Luke Anderson and Leona Sable

JN: Luke, Leona, thank you so much for sitting down with me. I know that things are busy but this all happened so fast, so let’s get right into it shall we? There is a tour.

Leona: Yes! Luke’s tour.

JN: Please tell us about it. I’m sure the readers want to know more.

Leona: Luke is the artist so I’ll let him talk about it.

Luke: Let me, huh?

Leona: (rolls eyes) You know what I mean.

Luke: I’m an electronic dance music songwriter and DJ. This will be my biggest tour yet, record breaking if I have anything to say about it.

Leona: Breaking records takes a team effort.

Luke: Right.

JN: That’s exciting! How did you two get connected, businesswise?

Leona: Luke required a change in management so his agent Tommy Boombox reached out to Wallace Entertainment, the company I work with.  Can I be frank?

JN: Please.

Leona: Things were in a terrible state but despite some….complications, I came in to help.

Luke: Reluctantly.

Leona: Not that I need you to tell me that.

Luke: See, this is how it started with us.

Leona: Eh hem… let me tell it…

Luke: Be my guest.

JN: Okay, I see the sparks between you two are still lighting up a room.

Leona: Well, contrary to how readers may have perceived us in the beginning–which I totally cannot blame them for–Luke and I both want to do our best to have a successful tour. We both have some personal things to deal with, but we’re professionals.

JN: What kind of personal things?

Luke: Trust was a big deal–

Leona: I see how you’re trying to get us to talk but that’s why I’m here. Neither my client nor I will be discussing our personal life.

JN: I see. Tell me this one thing. Is it safe to say it’s been difficult trusting one another to do their job?

Luke: That only scratches the surface. Our attraction to one another–

Leona: Luke?

Luke: We’re not fooling anyone, Leona.

Leona: Yes, we are…we’re not… I mean…

Luke: (sighs heavily and twists the soul patch of hair under his lip)

Leona: I just don’t want the media getting that information. I mean… I know you’re the one who writes us–

JN: Yes, there’s that.

Leona: You just never know who’s listening. They don’t know when to stop. They never know when to stop, even when it hurts people.

JN: People you love?

Leona: Especially those people.

JN: I can see you’re worried about your privacy being infringed upon?

Luke: She’s been burned in the past. So have I. The quintessential knock ‘em while they’re down scenario.

JN: Ouch! Brutal.

Luke: Tell me about it.

Leona: We should get back to discussing Luke and his tour. Do the readers know he’s doing a ton of international spots? We have Luke merch available and–

Luke: She focuses the attention on me and the tour when she’s avoiding expressing her feelings.

JN: You seem to have gotten to know Leona quite well while on this tour.

Luke: What she allows me to know. What we both allow.  I can’t say I was my best when we first met, but I’m trying now.

Leona: He is getting better.

JN: (narrows eyes)  Interesting. You both sound so tender when you speak about this.

Leona: Let’s move onto the music.

Luke: Yeah, I have a new song coming out and…

JN: Whoa, I’m leading this interview.

Leona: Are you though?

JN: (clears throat)  I am. I know you two write yourselves in some respects, but I’m still the one in charge.

Luke: (chuckles) Keep telling yourself that, beautiful.
