About Texas Rose Happily Ever After (April 2023)

From International Bestselling Author Katie Graykowski comes a story about love, laughter, and ranching. The fifth installment of A Texas Rose Ranch series will prove that everything is bigger in Texas and love will always find a way.

Swacovian Crown Princess Alexandra Louisa Eleanor Evangeline Von Claremont known as A-Lee is on a mission to find her maternal grandfather. She promised her beloved grandmother as the woman lay dying that she would find the man who her grandmother had loved and then lost contact with during the Korean War.

After all, the man has a daughter and a granddaughter that he doesn’t know exist. Over the years her grandmother had looked for him, but in 1965 he disappeared. The last place he worked was the Texas Rose Ranch. A-Lee must find him. It was her grandmother’s dying wish. She will not fail. Her whole life has led up to this point. Nothing will stop her. Until she runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere.

San Antonio—T-Bone—Rose is the fifth son of the famed Texas Rose Ranch. It may be the second largest ranch in Texas, but it’s the most profitable by far. He’s finally home for good with his newly minted PhD in Agribusiness. He’s taking over the farming arm of the family business. The ranch is going non-GMO whether the family likes it or not. He knows best. It’s his way or the highway. Speaking of the highway, there seems to be a tall chestnut-haired woman wearing a red sequin crop top walking purposefully down the middle of Highway 16.

After some serious convincing, T-Bone talks A-Lee into taking a ride from him to the Texas Rose Ranch. Together they tear the ranch apart looking for clues to the mystery that is Llewellyn Bradford.

What they find, changes their lives forever.

Interview by author Katie Graykowski with T-Bone Rose with commentary by his wife Her Serene Highness A-Lee Von Claremont-Rose

TR: T-Bone Rose

HSHAVCR: Her Serene Highness A-Lee Von Claremont-Rose

KG: Would you rather have 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?

TR: That depends, are these horses real?

KG: Yes.

TR: I’d go with the 100 duck-sized horses. I’d love to see my brother Cinco try to ride them.

HSHAVCR: Can we use them in the next camp rodeo? Watching the kids try to rope them would be fun. Where do we find these smaller horses?

TR: They aren’t real horses.

HSHAVCR: That is too bad.

KG: How would you explain the internet to a caveman?

TR: I actually have experience with this. I’ve tried to explain to Lefty that data stored in the cloud isn’t stored in the clouds. He thinks he can only access the cloud when it’s cloudy outside.

HSHAVCR: That explains so much.

KG: When would you go if you had a time machine?

TR: I don’t know. I’d have to think about that one.

HSHAVCR: I would go back to the time of Jacques The Cunning, the first king of Swacovia, and explain that less is more when it comes to marble statues with large penises.

TR: Now that I think about it, there are a lot of well-endowed male statues in all three of the palaces. I would have to go back to that time with you. Hopefully, between the two of us we can convince him.

KG: In a fight between a ninja and a pirate, who would win?

TR: That’s easy. A ninja. Pirates wear a lot of unnecessary clothing. All of those ruffles would get in the way. Plus, ninjas are silent and you can hear a pirate coming from a mile away.

HSHAVCR: Can I meet the ninja and pirate first? I do not want to judge them by their profession.

KG: What would I find in your refrigerator?

TR: Cheese fondue, potato salad, and champagne.

HSHAVCR: We also have that box of baking soda.

TR: That’s right. I forgot about the baking soda. We have cheese fondue, potato salad, champagne, and a box of baking soda.
